David Guetta at Creamfields 2010

Whatever people say about David Guetta, everything he does is helping a lot house music to take over the planet and its also helping young dj getting noticed and underground music be discovered. This guy has taken a totally different dimension, he is a real DJ superstar, way more than any other before him, no comparison! Look at him ripping apart creamfields in front of 40,000 people singing to his track!

Sorry but, i Can't see anything from Guetta.
I've never heard some of his Tracks and I got my own opinion about him (but thats a other story).
If you ask other popular DJ's/Producers, I think everbody will say the same about him… If I were at Creamfields, I probably left the Event when Guetta joined the Stage.

Thats my Opinion about the whole Thing. :-)

no offence Trist but then your dumb…you don’t get 40+ thousand fans for nothing, there is only a hand full of DJs that can pack a place out for a show like he can (tiesto, AVB, Paul Vn Dyk, swedish house mafia…) maybe few others but regardless. i know he’s been a bit stupid lately but he will get back to his roots soon enough and all the haters will come crawling back.

I won’t crawl back. I think everybody knows the Truth about Guetta and a Friend of mine saw him live – he was terrible.
So, if 40k People sing – 20k are Drunken and the other 20k don’t know about Guetta & House Music. They are the “normal people” who just hear Guetta and no other House Musician.

You said Tiesto? Sorry but i laughed a bit.. Tiesto is maybe the Commercialst DJ of the World but never the Best…Everybody knows his Live Fails :-) And his “Tracks”? The same like Guetta! ;)

I am this post created a discussion, this is a big debate going on rit now in the house world. House music is at a turning point where its becoming really mainstream and could become quite soon the main music style in the world. With all of this modifications there are 2 current: “the traditional” such as trist who are against mainstream no matter what and wants dj to put creativity before money. And there is the “modern” such as you Jesse, who understand that to grow, house music needs to get into the mainstream which doesn’t necessarily mean the end of creativity, in the contrary the “modern” believes that expansion will increase the number of new djs bringing more style so more to the general puzzle.

House fans don’t have to like Guetta or Tiesto music but at least they should respect the fact that their music is making house music bigger and its thanks to ppl like them that we can enjoy festival around the world and party with hundred thousands of people! And besides if you were in north america you would understand that you prefer to hear guetta than rihanna. Even if i would prefer to hear seb leger or Umek but it wont happened rit away, patience….lol
