Time Warp 2011; Impressive Line Up
Germany has always been a dominant country for electronic music, bringing the best producers and throwing some of the best festivals. Well good news, if you love techno, tech-house and minimal and you are close to Germany this saturday, you HAVE TO go to Time Warp. This event line-up is just massive; Carl Cox, Riccardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Luciano, Carl Craig, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing, Butch, Karotte and more!
And just if this wasn’t enough, legend Sven Vath will celebrate his 30-year DJ anniversary while Richie Hawtin will perform a 6-hour marathon set! Also Laurent Garnier will be doing a live set!

We’ve now hit the final countdown before Eric Prydz brings his EPIC showcase to O2 Academy Brixton this Saturday with special guests Adam Beyer, Funk D’Void and Jeremy Olander. The tickets have totally SOLD OUT earlier this week! Everyone has heard about the innovation brought to this event in terms of music and visual effects, with the first time use of holograms during a live concert. But how did the whole concept come about? Well check out the brand new video in which Eric himself explains his inspiration behind the show and the sample of a brand new track! It’s sure to get your juices flowing with Saturday’s showpiece on the horizon.
UMF Live Preview: Avicii – Penguin (Vocal Mix)
Avicii has become in less than two years a major player in the EDM industry, gaining solid reputation, producing with the biggest names and influencing a lot of new artists. It’s incredible that this year was only the second time he participated the Winter Music Conference and the first time Ultra Music Festival, headlining Saturday main stage!
In his tracklist he played a bunch of unreleased stuff such as “Blessed Remix”, “Jailbait”, “ID”, “Nothing without You“,and the vocal version of “Penguin” which should be released in April.Take a look at he video below filmed during his Saturday set on the main-stage at the Ultra Music Festival:
Preview: Alex Metric & Steve Angello feat. Ian Brown – Open Your Eyes (Tim Mason Festival Remix) [Positiva Records]
Tim Mason is one of the sensation of this beginning of 2011, his first official track “The Moment” will be released on Steve Angello‘s mighty label Size Records next week on April 6th 2011, already supported by the biggest name in the industry such as Tiesto, Sebastian Ingrosso, featured in Pete Tong’s Essential selection. Also currently in the essential countdown and in my opinion future Essential new tune 
Well if this wasn’t enough London based producer Tim Mason, also got the privilege of remixing one of Steve Angello’s latest production: Alex Metric & Steve Angello feat. Ian Brown – Open Your Eyes (Tim Mason Festival Remix). And this should be a part of the “Open Your Eyes” remix package coming up soon on London based label; Positiva Records (EMI). Preview: Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick feat. Shawnee Taylor – Stronger
The collaboration between Erick Morillo and Eddie Thoneick already brought us two of the biggest track of 2010 with “Live Your Life” and “Nothing Better”, and it seems that the two are back in 2011 with another amazing release called “Stronger” featuring the beautiful vocals of Shawnee Taylor. Label we could expect subliminal but release date is still unknown.
Preview: Sean Miller & Daniel Dubb – Sinnerman [Toolroom]
‘Sinnerman’ has been the highlight in DJ sets from Nic Fanciulli, Steve Lawler, Luciano & Mark Knight and looks set to be THE track of the summer rocking Miami as one of the stand out tracks of the conference setting Ibiza firmly in its sights.
Taking that infamous Nina Simone sample, Sean Miller & Daniel Dubb have cleverly produced an infectious tech house groove, supported by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 ‘Sinnerman’ will be an instant club classic on the floors that know; rocking the terraces all summer long.
Hailing from Canada, Sean Miller is a renowned DJ and producer gaining recognition from his peers and clubbers alike through a dedication to his craft that has earned him numerous releases on top labels with his DJ skills continuously packing out the biggest clubs from Global Gathering UK to Space in Miami. With big support coming from the likes of Joris Voorn and Lee Burridge, rising star Daniel Dubb looks set to establish himself at the forefront of house music as his deep sets and unique productions continue to earn him praise from all corners of the music industry.
