Axtone Interview: Norman Doray’s Top 3

Very interesting idea from Axtone; With the release of ‘One Look‘ this week, they have decided to get to know one of the remixer one the EP a bit better. They asked 3 random subjects to Norman Doray, check out his answers:

HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS:

Thailand – I really love this place. My favourite one in the world. People are naturally kind and respectful. Best beaches ever.

Ibiza – Yes you really can have holidays there and not based around the parties. The island is so big and it’s paradise. But for sure, I always go to party aahaha

Brittany, France – This is where I come from and where I have all my family and friends. I simply need it to find inspiration and feel my roots.

WAYS TO RELAX:

Sport – Before becoming a DJ I was a pro surfer, so I used to surf everyday, even in the winter. Now I can’t really do it anymore. It was the best way to relax, after two hours of surfing, I was in paradise.

Looking at the sky – I know it’s not very original but I think I look at the sky more than anyone. I can easily look at the sky for 2/3hours a day. This is so important to me, the clouds, the sun, the stars. It relax me a lot and I can imagine so many things through it.

Being with my friends – And drinking the best wine ever! These moments are gold, we are always trying to change the world.

HOTELS:

SLS Beverly Hills – This hotel is crazy. Designed by Stark, you have everything you can expect from a high standard hotel. You are in the middle of everything, Beverly centre next to it, beach not so far. Moreover, I love the TV in the wall

Pacha Hotel, Ibiza – This is not the best hotel of the island, but it’s special to me. You can feel it in the air, it’s Pacha! Love the white colour and the cherries. The bar inside and on the terraza is amazing!!!

Unique Hotel, Sao Paolo – This one is crazy, it looks like a boat, it’s so big and well designed. Check the room, in there you have like a skateboarding ramp just behind the TV! Amazing.
