Release: Justin Faust – Girl Talk (GLOVES Remix) [DISCOTEXAS]
One of my favourite record labels, DISCOTEXAS, brings you some classic Nu Disco/ Disco House music. Strait from Australia here is a new remix from GLOVES. The original by Justin Faust is a nice upbeat funky track and the remix by gloves takes it to a new level getting a bit deeper and a bit funkier. This just made it onto Beatport’s top 10 in the indie/ nu disco genre and its getting lots of support from DJ. The track is availble now on Beatport and will be available on Juno, iTunes, Amazon and other digital stores starting July 29th, so take a listen and let us know what you think!

Release: Jay Lumen – The Groovy Stuff EP [100% Pure]
Another amazing tech house release from Hungarian rising star producer Jay Lumen on Amsterdam’s longest running techno label; 100% Pure Records, founded by 2000 and One. Last year Jay Lumen already had 2 great releases on 100% Pure so its normal they asked him to come back.
This EP includes 3 tracks; The Groovy Stuff, Gotta Get It, All I want and in all of them you can recognize Jay’s versatile fuse of different genres which create his own unique Lumen signature sound.
The groovy stuff is for the main-room, this peak-time power tool will drive any crowd to the club floor. High energy crescendos keep packing the punches while the analogue-feel edits offer some respite from the heat. Gotta Get It: is heavy on the drums kick, while the masterful melody of chord loops and vocal edits bring the warmth. All I want has a warm bass line mashed with funky vocal chunks.

Techno legend John Acquaviva teamed up with French producer Superskank to create a great tech house hit called “Ska Skank Redemption”, which is released today on Acquaviva’s imprint Definitive Recordings.

With a lot of exciting new house coming out of the East these days, Swanky Tunes ranks among the most noteworthy. The Swanky Tunes group was formed in 1998, with different electronic styles in pursuit of their own sound of techno sounds mixed with vintage synthesizers. These days, hints of the techno, electro-80′s, and the contemporary progressive house movements are all finding their way into the mix. Swanky Tunes were named ‘Best Musical Group’ in 2006 and 2007 at the Russian Dance Music Awards and they are currently ranked #14 among the Top 100 DJs of Russia. Internationally, their tracks and remixes have been issued on Mixmash, Spinnin’ Records, Refune, Size Records and Cr2 Records. Swanky Tunes last releases have been heavily supported by: Tiesto, David Guetta, Sandern Van Doorn, Swedish House Mafia, Laidback Luke and Dirty South.
This time Swanky Tunes are back with a release on the legendary Size Records that is entitled ‘Smolengrad‘. The track has been supported by many top Dj’s such as the Swedish House Mafia and is set to be released on August 10th. Accompanying ’Smolengrads‘ EP release will be the release of the highly anticipated track ‘United‘, again this track has been supported by many DJ’s and seems to be another anthem for the Swed trios.
