News: Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel Date Announced
After a dazzling display of baffling music and ceaseless visual stimuli, Swedish House Mafia has truly opened the door to a new era for Electronic Dance Music with their sold out spectacle at the Madison Square Garden in New York. And it is these same history making Swedes that have just announced their yearly Miami show. In a similar fashion as last year, the trio will be hosting their own miniature festival, juxtaposing Miami’s ever so famous Ultra on March 23rd 2012. Whether you love them, worship them or demonize them, you cannot deny the impact that these three men have had for the genre. Check out the announcement video and start dreaming.
Release: Afrojack – Lost and Found Part 2 [Wall]
Household dutch house producer Afrojack has just released his latest EP, Lost and Found Part 2. After a fairly quiet second part of the year Nick van de Wall decides to unveil a little treat to his dutch house hardcore fans, with his trademarked bouncy beats and intermittent beeps and baps, this latest installment is nothing too spectacular but is oh so reminiscent of why we love him. Continuously bringing the pop world and the EDM scene ever so closer to one another, he is a force to be reckoned with. Enjoy.
Preview: Hardwell – Spaceman [Revealed]
Hardwell brings us the long awaited release of ‘Spaceman‘, already buzzed around the internet and is set to land on Earth in January 2012! Live Preview: Flo Rida – Wild Ones (David Guetta & Nicky Romero remix)
With the year coming to an end it seems as if many household names of the genre are unveiling previews of what’s to come for year 2012. And well, it truly sounds promising, with remixes like this one exemplifying that. Nicky Romero and David Guetta, both incredibly talented artists have had an amazing year with the release of Nothing But The Beat by the French producer, as well as Romero’s partnership with other greats such as Avicii with the rumored ID 3, and to top it all of they decide to remix Flo Rida and Sia’s Wild Ones. This live preview (in surprisingly good quality) showcases a well polished and powerful remix, that utilizes the right components of the original while adding enough interesting content to make it an impressive tune.
