Swedish House Mafia – Masquerade Motel Miami 2012 (March 23rd)
With the Winter Music Festival in Miami coming up in March, the Swedish House Mafia have decided again to not show case their talents at one of North America’s biggest festival. Rather then join the festivities; the trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello will again host their own party with their own selected line up. With a bold roster last year, which saw the likes of DJ/producers such as Pete Tong, Dirty South and A-Track, ensures us that this year will be just as big and just as stacked. With only Calvin Harris and the date of the party announced we await news from the Swedish House Mafia team, but for now download the trios DJ set from last years party and begin the anticipation.

One of my favourite tracks at the moment ‘Walking Alone‘ by Dirty South and Those Usual Suspects featuring Erik Hecht on the beautiful vocals, has been remixed and released today by one of EDM biggest and youngest rising star. Arty has been dropping massive releases and as well and incredible remixes for the past couple of years and has gain support from all ends of the board from Axwell, Chuckie, Hardwell, Tiesto, Robbie Rivera, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Gareth Emery. Now with his career in full motion, Arty and Phazing Records brings us the release of his remix of ‘Walking Alone‘ which is available today on Beatport.

News: Swedish House Mafia – BBC Radio One LA Special Take Over
After the incredible success of the first Swedish House Mafia BBC Radio One Take Over, the trio which consists of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello, are back at it again with another show scheduled for the 17th of February. As they did in their first “take over” show, the three swed’s will be talking about which tracks they are feeling at the moment, what they are working on as the SHM, as well as their solo and friends projects and of course previewing some of their exclusive new tracks. People in general don’t really know who Joachim Garraud is, but he is one of the pioneer of the electro as we know it now, preaching his beats and his space invaders concept all over the world for more than 10 years. Besides that, he also co-produced the two first album of David Guetta, no big deal…

News: Cosmic Opera – Axwell announcement
Cosmic Opera is an intimate, extrasensory dance event series combining the cast and high-value production of a renaissance or opera spectacle with an over-the-top dance music concert. Set to take place in the beautiful Hammerstein Ballroom, Cosmic Opera will combine electronic music, art, and production in its highest form from across the centuries. Industry leaders in theater, event production, visual design, technology and music performance have teamed up to create a state-of-the-art, next-generation experience. The Cosmic Opera series will open in New York City this winter, once a month, for three months in a row. Electronic music and theatrical production will be rolled into one, with never-before seen laser and lighting elements integrated with dramatic, opera-themed activations spread throughout the venue. Audiences will not be hundreds of feet away from the experience, they will be part of it.
With that being said, Cosmic Opera is proud to annouce that Axwell from the Swedish House Mafia will be their headliner DJ for the event. Axwell, the DJ mogul and producer superstar who will be inaugurating the series, is also a creator and partner in bringing Cosmic Opera to life. He will be overseeing the musical and performance elements as well as adding his 15+ years of concert expertise, veteran producer talents and timeless dance-music knowledge to Cosmic Opera. In other words, he’ll be adding: “nothing but love.”
