Justin Bieber – Boyfriend (Dada Life Remix)
Hilarious swedish duo Dada Life and back with a new remix from young pop icon Justin Bieber‘s newest single ‘Boyfriend‘. With EDM becoming North America’s newest top 40, I am not surprised that Dada Life is remixing this radio hit. You could say this is a ridiculous but I see it as the separation between “Top40 EDM” and true electronic dance music. The track seems to be an official remix but has no word on an official release, stay tuned.
Preview: Avicii vs Lenny Kravitz – Superlove (Avicii’s Space Mix)
After being hospitalized and taking some serious time off, the young superstar DJ/producer know as Avicii is back with an exclusive preview. This time Avicii also known as Tim Berg, teamed up with rock-pop star Lenny Kravitz who’s new album is on the way. Lenny kicks it off and gets a fabulous introduction to EDM by one of the most sought after remixers in the world at the moment. Preview: Eva Simons – I Don’t Like You [Produced by Zedd]
Eva Simons is known as the girl who laid down the very popular vocals for the track by Afrojack entitled ‘Take Over Control‘. With her well distinctive hair style and fashion, the breakout hit has been one of the main contributors of EDM making the conversion into North American as the new Top40. This time Eva Simons is back with a solo project backed by one of Germany’s youngest established talents, the producer known as Zedd. The track features a similar sound to ‘Take Over Control‘ with a heavy influenced electro breakdown from Zedd . The track is set to be released on March 26th via Interscope Records and is sure to fill North America’s club dance floors and be played all across the radio air waves. Say goodbye to the women of yesterday in Top40 such as Britney Spears and say hello to the new women of North American EDM such as Eva Simons.
Release: Fedde le Grand, Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel – Turn it [Flamingo Records]
Founder Fedde le Grand returns to Flamingo Records with his first track of 2012. With the backings of Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel, the three collaborated on a new track entitled ‘Turn It‘, they prepare for WMC 2012. With a classic Fedde Le Grand sound, a electric Deniz Koyu and Johan Wedel twist, ‘Turn It‘ has unsurprisingly proved a hit with some of the biggest EDM artists throwing their considerable support behind it. The track ‘Turn It‘ will be released via Flamingo Recordings and available exclusively on Beatport from March 19th.

With his recent announcement on signing with David Guetta, Nicky Romero has been the main buzz around the EDM world lately. With already having some major track in 2012, Nicky Romero brings us “The Remixes” of one of his extremely successful track entitled ‘Toulouse‘. Tommy Trash and the classic duo know as Chocolate Pumpa are the selecties to remix this very popular Nicky Romero track. One of my favourite tracks at the moment ‘Walking Alone‘ by Dirty South and Those Usual Suspects featuring Erik Hecht on the beautiful vocals, has been remixed and released today by one of EDM biggest and youngest rising star. Arty has been dropping massive releases and as well and incredible remixes for the past couple of years and has gain support from all ends of the board from Axwell, Chuckie, Hardwell, Tiesto, Robbie Rivera, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Gareth Emery. Now with his career in full motion, Arty and Phazing Records brings us the release of his remix of ‘Walking Alone‘ which is available today on Beatport.
Release: Adrian Lux feat. Lune – Fire (Original/Remix)[Ultra Records]
Adrian Lux is one of the newest breeds of DJ/producers to fuel the EDM world. Based out of Stockholm, Sweden this young producer is definitely one of the newest names to watch out for in 2012. With already some massive releases behind him, such as ‘Teenage Crime‘ and his most recent ‘Alive‘, bring a large spotlight on this young swedish producer.
As we mentioned a couple of months ago, Adrian Lux is back with another beautiful melodic track entitled ‘Fire‘, which features the vocals from the likes of Lune. Check out this preview and the remix done by Michael Weermets and stay tune for its release on the 7th of February on Ultra Records.

Release: Inpetto – No More Serious Faces [Cr2 Records]
Inpetto is know in the EDM world for creating amazing productions with a fantastic balance of beautiful melodies and power for the dancefloor. In a relatively short period of time siblings Marco and Dirk Duderstadt have built a name for themselves that’s propel them to the forefront of the European house movement. Yet unlike many that have sold out to commercialism or believed their own hype, the boys from Dorsten, Germany, have never strayed far from their original blueprint, and it’s that level consistency that has made them a clear favourite amongst their peers, and elevated them to critical acclaim as producers, remixers and DJs.
This time Inpetto are back with an original track which is entitled ‘No More Serious Faces‘, and is set to be released on Cr2 Record on January 9. The track is an uplifting. big room sound, filled with a hand clapping melody. Check out the preview and support Inpetto on January 9th.
Preview: Dirty South and Thomas Gold feat. Kate Elsworth – Eyes Wide Open
With a similar sound to their previous collab, Dirty South, Thomas Gold and Kate Elsworth are back once again with another uplifting and vocal engaging hit. With the main different from their pervious track ‘Alive’ being the drop, simply because it is just way bigger and holds more power then their previous work.
Dirty South and Thomas Gold kept the familiar sound that made ‘Alive‘ so popular and injected a little more EMD juice into the new single, which will probably give them a bit more successful result for the single; seeing how the popular sound right now in EDM is “aggressive”. With a release date set for January 23rd on Dirty South‘s own record label Phazing Records, make sure you have this one marked on your Beatport calendar. Enjoy!

This video was premiered on MTV US‘ finest EDM dedicated program MTV Clubland. With a teaser out on Youtube with over half a million views and already topping dance charts all around the world it’s now time for the Official Video premiering in and also featuring USA! And will directly be broadcasted into 82 million households!
The video gives a spectacular view on todays club scene in US, dynamic filming and movement in every shot, mixed up with a lot of visual effects like flares, film burns, black & white, slow-motion and speed ramps, give the video the energy it needs. It follows Hardwell touring Dominican Republic and USA and sure shows this man knows how to throw a party! Las Vegas, Hollywood and Miami all got the Hardwell treatment, breaking down the house!
‘Cobra‘ is a more than worthy successor to all previous Hardwell chart-stormers, kicking in with a big chord theme and building an explosive amount of tension — till it all breaks and the climax unfolds an electro bassline monster, unexpected but fierce and powerful just like a Cobra! The track’s finale lets all elements come together, making ‘Cobra’ a sure-shot at dance floor damage.
